31 missing still as Sanamxay search ceases, DPM says
As many as 31 persons remain unaccounted for despite extended search operations to locate all victims of the July 23 flash flooding caused by a collapse of a dam in Sanamxay district, Attapeu province, Deputy Prime Minister said yesterday.
Authorities in charge have decided to officially halt the search operations for those remaining missing after learning there was no additional progress nor confirmed victims located for some time.
